Notes

Nothing much. Just wanna put these links as not-so-important references for Chapter 2. I mean I learned how to do foot notes but it didn’t work as what I wanted so I gave up.

Shichinin-Misaki

City designated by government ordinance

Hmm what else?

Chapter 3’s title in Japanese is「アイドルは鉄骨 に死なす」(Idol wa tekkotsu ni shinasu).

Note that the title is in present tense so the author is talking in general not specifically about Nanase Karin or maybe I was just reading between the lines too much.

Around 2008 and further on, sometimes in news the word 死なした which literally means causing someone to die was used instead of the word 殺した/殺された (killed/been killed) and it caused quite a confusion among some people (the Japanese).

The reason is they both in such context mean the same thing. Someone was killed.

So, what is the difference between them that make the media in Japan change the word that they had been using for all murder news?

Basically;

死なす(shinasu) = someone killed someone else by accident, without any murder-intent.

殺す(korosu) = someone killed someone else on purpose, really meant to kill that someone.

Maybe the author is trying to tell us something? Or maybe the author was just wanted to use the word because it was once became a hot topic.

Hope those information are useful. Sorry, no spoilers.

Oh and today is August 26th, with that all the OP/ED songs this season on my waiting list are cleared.

Listening to last ones on the list; Mikatzuki and Clattanonia right when it was just released at 00:00 feels so good~

Oh yes, a picture.

From an imouto-genre manga called Rinjin wo Imouto-seyo! (Make your neighbour your sister!)

This manga is epically hilarious. 10/10

  1. Footnotes as in the html using a elements? Yeah, WordPress tends to have a little thing on top, so even if you link it to the specific area, it’s usually cut off. It’s a pain…

      1. You could try moving the link a few lines above, but that’s a bit annoying to do repeatedly, so eh.
